Teaching Staff

The school has four leadership staff:

• Ginny Pyatt (Principal)
• Meika Bradley (Deputy Principal)
• Poojaa Anand (Coordinator Ready to Learn / SACE)
• Kirrilly Pedisic (Coordinator Numeracy)

There are 29 full time and 10 part time teachers at the school from Foundation to Year 12. Some part time teachers are employed to accommodate the Non Instructional time for class teachers.

School Services Officers (SSO)

Modbury Special School employs more than 60 SSO’s, the majority of these work directly with children in classes with one full time Business Manager  and two part time staff at the front desk.

One full time and one part time SSO work to create the resouces for classrooms. Other SSO’s are employed to assist class teachers in classrooms with student learning and health support.

HSO’s are provided through the Women’s and Children’s Health Network to fulfill specific health need support for complex students.

The school also employs an IT technician two days a week and a grounds person twice a week.
