Special School

Making the Difference

Modbury Special School is one of the largest Special School sites in South Australia. We recognise that each child has their own individual needs, abilities and strengths. In every classroom the learning environment and curriculum are personalised to suit each child. Individualised planning incorporates sensory regulation, Positive Behaviour Intervention Supports (PBIS), communication strategies and differentiation of curriculum.

To attend Modbury Special School, the student must have a diagnosed intellectual disability and be recommended by a Department for Education Guidance Officer (Psychologist) and a Special Educator through a specific panel process to attend this setting. To find out if your child is eligible, please contact the Para Hills Office

We are unable to accept any enrolments that have not gone through this process.
